On 20 December 2025 we did A Can for a Ride on the Lions Christmas Train to collect non perishable food items to donate to the Lower Hutt Food Bank. It was a fantastic family day out and we were absolutely overwhelmed by support from the community.
In January when the Food Bank opened up after Christmas our Club President Jill and her husband Peter dropped off the food that was collected. The Food Bank gave us a certificate of appreciation which was lovely. Thank you once again to our community for coming along and supporting this wonderful cause.
